Seems the game servers have seen
the comings of the two main characters involved in the whole entire back story,
and of the game itself. Asheron, and Bael'Zharon have made appearances on all
the servers, and have even been spotted by our own guild members. In the future
guys, be sure ya get some snapshots of either one of these characters, would
love to drop a few on the board, or onto the site itself. I, for one, would like
to be on when a sighting is made, just to see the main characters in all their
glory. If any guild member knows or sees either of these characters, be sure to
note the time and place, so we can get an idea on what time they are usually on.
Also, would love to attack Bael'Zharon, just to see
what would happen. I know if it's possible, I'll be doing just that if I see
him. Hope all of you do the same!

Would like to welcome all the new
members to full member status, these include-Hawk of
haven, Ramegham, Bolas
Nicol, Barry al-ween, Bubba
Gump, and last but not least, Swordmen.
Good to have you all aboard. Will have guild necessities mailed to each of you
by the weekend. Hail the brothers of the SHARK!
Also wanted to be sure that the
message board be updated with anything new or different, so we can all be
informed. For Mages going on the Sunday quest...be sure that you bring a weapon.
Want to be sure you know that the Lugians in the mines are almost, well, are,
impervious to spells of any kind. Be sure you wear good armor, and to carry a
shield.
Seems the Hopeslayer has been out
and about recently. Baelz'eron has been sighted in quite a few places since the
patch. Of these sightings, some have included Fort Tethana, South Qalabar, and
the Southern Direlands area. Also, there have been reports from guild members
(Agbayani) who have stated that there were Diamond Golems right outside the town
limits of Lin. They seem to be coming Eastward...don't they? More to
follow...muwahahahah!
Wanted to welcome an old timer back
to the game, and also welcome a newcomer into the guild. The old timer is
Tarian, a member who started with the guild during the first few months of AC
starting. He finally came to his senses, and decided to stop playing
"Evercamp" (Everquest...heh) and come back from the Dark Side to start
playing AC as a BotS member again. He will be bringing along a friend from EQ to
join him, and we welcome him, and his friend into the BotS roster again.
The newcomer to the ranks is Menzobberanzan, who was sworn to May Lin. He has already shown what an asset he will be to the guild, with his generosity, and devotion to the BotS members. Welcome to the guild Menz, good to have ya.
Again, we have a few old timers in the game, who have decided to become BotS members, and are again, going to be a welcome addition as soon as they are voted on by the guild. Hawk of haven, and his vassals are sworn to May Lin also, and are very good fighters. I had the honor of meeting them on a more personal level a few weeks ago on a guild meeting, in Samsur. Kensai has told me a lot about them, and I see nothing but greatness in welcoming these new people, and veterans, into the BotS Guild. I hope you all have a lot of fun while you are with us.
Made a run to Ayan Baquar with some
BotS hopefuls last night. Hawk of Haven, and his friends, have decided to come
over to the Brothers of the SHARK and add their talents to our already dynamic
guild. During the run, they showed me what great warriors they were, and nothing
was stopping us. Had a great time, and want to thank Hawk, and his comrades, for
choosing the BotS to hang their hat. More to come on full membership a bit
later, we always "feel out" new people to the guild, this gives us all
a chance to know what each other expects.
Menzobberanzan,
a new recruit, will be voted on this weekend, and if accepted, will join the
BotS forces full time. He is a vassal of May Lin's, and once he settles into the
game a bit more, should be a heckuva warrior (He pretty much already is!!). Will
have results Monday about guild vote.

Today is the 59th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Navy Pacific Fleet Home Port. This attack, led by the Imperial Japanese Navy, drew the United States into World War Two. Go out and thank a veteran today, because of them, you have freedom.
Been meaning to get some other news
up, but you know how time flies! Wanted to thank everyone for the message board
posts, and that we had our 1000th hit to the site last week. Thanks for checking
out our site! Wanted to let people know that we usually hook up for quests ever
Sunday, at 3:00pm Pacific/6:00pm Eastern. These aren't actually quests, unless a
certain item is announced earlier, but it gives the guild a chance to hook up
and have some fun together, since we all have busy schedules. The general public
is invited, but we usually have a set plan on what we are doing, and I *usually*
drop what the meeting will be about on our public message board.
The December patch
should be coming soon. December Event to
Open!
Unlike any other gaming experience, the world of Dereth continues to evolve each
and every month. One can only wonder what changes and additions will soon take
place when we open our December event, “The Child of Daralet.” For more info
on some of the lore, go HERE (click me).
Seems we have a
consensus on the message board that people want to make a run for chorazite. If
that's what people want to do, then let's do it. More details on that quest will
come next week.
Are you all ready for the acid
(stinging) stone quest for Sunday? Here are the details once again, and if any
of you reading this, the more the merrier! If you wish to join us on this quest,
we will meet in Samsur, near the mage shop, at 3:00pm Pacific/6:00pm Eastern. Be
sure to wear some good armor and to have your comps for acid bane, and piercing
protects and bane. For those of you who don't know, Olthoi are very susceptible
to Bludgeoning/Cold, but melee Bludgeon seems best.
Well, found out some disappointing
new from and advocate last night. Trust was looking for a quest bow he believed
was accessible if you were to have a Dark Magus bone carved. Talked to an
advocate, and he told me that this was just a rumor, and that he tried this
himself. If you have any news that is contrary to this, please mail me using the
mail link at the bottom of the page.
We have some high level
levelers! May Lin and Hung Well, each took their characters up a notch the past
day or so. May Lin takes it to Level 63, and Hung Well, hits Level 52!
Congratulations to both of these members!!!
Well, hope all of you
had a GREAT Holiday weekend. The BotS went questing Sunday, to the Serac Vault,
to claim the Frost stone. Once inside, we took the fight to the undead, and then
took the stone! Congrats on those who made the quest, your web pages will be
updated. Agbayani and Trust had to cut out early, Ag with puter problems, and
Trust, had a crying baby on his hands. We can get the stone later for you both,
just that next Sunday, the Acid stone will be on our minds. Also, May Lin
brought along a new vassal (Menzoberranzan) who also joined us on the quest, and
completed it. Members who actually GOT the stone were , Myself, May Lin, Beldar,
and Menzoberranzan (although Menz isn't a full fledged member yet).
Trust has asked that
anyone knowing any information about a new bow quest, post the info on a message
board. Although it's in a rumor stage now, he believes there may be some truth
to it, so again, if you know anything, be sure to pop it onto one of the BotS
message boards...Thanks!
Set your quest calendars
for December 3rd, where we meet in Samsur at 3:00pm Pacific time, and head out
to grab the Acid stone. Anyone wishing to join the BotS on this quest are
welcome, but do what is necessary for your return to the Vault should you die.
Don't forget...Sunday 3 Dec 2000.
Just to be sure you all
know, the quest for the four stones is still a go. Invite your friends if they
would like to get the stone, but be sure they know to do what is necessary to
get back to the Serac vault, should they die. If we have time, we WILL be going
after the Major Stinging Stone after that, supposedly the hardest in the game to
get. We shall see!
Wanted to congratulate
again, Agbayani, winner of the picture shot quest. I gave some coords, and asked
the first person to get there to take a picture, then post it. He was the first,
and the winner! I doled out the prize, which included these items...
An Armet, Silver sheen color, Armor Level 303. A Contest monogrammed Virindi Wand. And last but not least, 5 Sturdy Iron Keys. Again, great job Agbayani! Agbayani will also get his web page adorned with a "Quest Crest", for taking this quest and knocking it out in just a few hours after the post by yours truly.

Well, hope all of you
had a great Thanksgiving, I know I did. Wanted to toss out some Kudos to some
guild people for their contributions in the past week or two in getting stuff
done for the rest of the guild, throwing out info, and being all around helpful
in many ways. My hat is off to you all. I want to really thank Tyreal for doing
some GREAT work on the new island quests, and posting all that great info onto
the boards. Ty, do me a favor and consolidate your posts, and drop them onto the
quest board. I don't want to lose any of that great stuff.
Beldar, thanx for
sending me your page info and pic. I have been slow in updating since the new
patch went in, but will have it done by the weekend. You people out there that
haven't sent me anything...get on it. It looks pretty sad when you need page
updates, and can't get them. Gonna start getting the stick out and bashing some
skulls! Please get your stuff to me, or I'll just toss up a pic of you when I
see you, and go from there.
If you are visiting the
page here, and aren't in the guild, please be aware that we are in the process
of going after all the stones that fit into the Atlan weapons, and post-patch
armor. If you would like to join us, please be in Samsur at 3:00PM Pacific
Sunday. We are going to be hitting the Serac Vault first, and if there is time,
will be going after the Acid stone next. I must warn you...the Serac vault isn't
by any means a walk in the park. If you decide to join us, please be aware that
if you die during the quest, you need to be able to get back to the dungeon and
recover your items. If we can help, we will, but will not be taking hours of
time to help all who come. I suggest you do some research on this quest before
joining us. You need to tie to the Lugian Dungeon portal exit, that is a few
clicks away from Serac for quick return to the Vault.
