I have set up some basic guidelines for the guild "Bro's" (and "Broesses"!), Vassals and Patrons, new and old alike. These are basic guidelines, and common sense issues, and are in no way meant to dictate to you how to play the game, Asheron's Call. But since you will wear our guild name on your sleeve, some issues have to be followed, and enforced, since we endorse our guild values in game, and out. Since we have members joining all the time, not yours, unless told so. Very simple. If you mule it, for safe keeping, be sure you remember asap to give the item back. If you borrow something then lose it, you had better make every attempt possible to give something similar back as payment.

(Top of Page) Teamwork is something we are all experienced in. It will be no ones responsibility to "Power Level" anyone at any time, unless they want to. Don't expect it. What you can expect, is if you are having a problem recovering a corpse, ask  I wanted to put up some basic policy guidelines that everyone needs to follow to be a member of the Brothers of the SHARK Guild. Courtesy, teamwork, and honesty are the way of the "BotS". By following these guidelines, you will have no problem with guild members, and will most likely enjoy the guild (and game) more, once you know what's expected of you and your fellow  guild members.

(Top of Page) Honesty  Don't screw anyone over. Easy. If you borrow something, be sure it gets back to it's owner when you are done with it. It's where to hunt, need help with a question, don't hesitate to call out to everyone online at the time. Guild members for the most part, will be sure to help you. Remember also, your corpse lasts 5 minutes per level, so if someone doesn't show up in 5-15 minutes, don't start spamming for help again. If someone says they are coming, guaranteed they will be there as soon as possible. Also, your patron should attempted to be called first, but since we all are a team, there is no reason we all can't help, when necessary. If it is a one person job, do not alert the entire guild to help you, just what's needed. If the person who comes to your aid needs more people, they will then make another help request.

(Top of Page) Courtesy is highly regarded in this guild. Act like a smart ass constantly, you'll get nothing, and you will probably be banned. Act in an adult like manner, and with common sense, and it goes far. Basically, if you think it will piss you off, don't expect anyone to take it from you. We all have bad days, but to act like an idiot daily, is something no one will put up with, especially me.

(Top of Page) Board Posting is the only way besides email that we have to know your wants and needs. We currently have 4 boards to post on. These are self explanatory. Don't expect anyone to read your mind. Post your thought's, good or bad, but don't hold a grudge. Name names, instances, or whatever to get the point across.

(Top of Page) Guild Events will be posted on both the private, and public boards. They will be posted one week ahead of time of them taking place. You are expected to reply if you CAN, or CANNOT make the quest. If you say yes, then you are OBLIGATED to show up. If you say you are coming, and then decide to leave before, or during said quest, you will be marked as a no show. Three (3) no shows, and you will not come on a BotS quest again for a period of Six (6) months, no matter what. "Before" means you are in game, ready to leave, not out of game. Also, if you say yes, and decide not to log on for the quest, due to whatever reason, the GM will decide to mark you as a no show or not.

(Top of Page) Sharing items in game is dealt with above in "Honesty". Simple and to the point.

(Top of Page) New Members Anyone bringing a new member into the guild is responsible for them, and no one else. If you want to recruit 10 people, then it is your responsibility alone to make sure they are treated well, and understand this Code of Conduct. If any member is found to not abide to this code of conduct, they will be removed from the ranks, no questions asked.

(Top of Page) Loyalty Points EVERY MEMBER of the Brothers of the SHARK Guild will, by Level 35, have 100 BASE loyalty MINIMUM. If you find that your patron has done well by you, and have a few points to drop into it, by all means do so. It is good payback for a job well done by your patron. NOTE: Base loyalty points are unbuffed stats, either by spell or jewelry of any kind. If you have over 100 with spells or jewelry, that's fine, but the base is without aid of any stat changing spell or item.

These are the main guidelines for our guild. They sound a bit harsh at first, but once you get to know the guild members, these subjects usually never come up. Most of us are all too happy to help out a bro/broess with anything they need if possible. Just don't take generosity and courtesy lightly, they can be abused very easily, and this is not the BotS way of gaming.
