New line tier link has been dropped onto the site, and the line will be coming along shortly. Note to all, meetings will be the time to re-swear your characters, and not until then. Anyone who is not playing a character, or if that character is NOT a higher level trade mule, will not, NOT add them to the tier line. The tier line is ONLY for main characters. The BotS have an unwritten rule also, but it will soon be a part of the CoC...it involves loyalty points by anyone and everyone on the line tier. To be on the line tier, you MUST have loyalty trained to at least 100 points by Level 35. This not only makes the line extremely productive for all who are on it, but is also common courtesy to the person you are sworn to. Also, do not wait until L34 to raise this skill to 100 points. Again, this will help everyone in the guild, and it IS a requirement as of this posting, but ONLY if you are on the line tier. If you are not on the line tier, and later decide you wish to be on it, before you will be able to join it, you need to show proof that your loyalty is at a minimum of 100 before entering the tier. This will be done by sending a screen shot to the Guild Master. This guild is one that will do anything for it's members, so we take people at their word to raise loyalty to the 100 mark. Please do not disappoint anyone by trying to get away with leaving this skill under the required number. You want a vassal with the required points under you, so be sure you offer your patron the same courtesy. The line was created for ALL MEMBERS, not just a select few, do not try to take advantage of anyone by attempting to deceive, or lie about this. Anyone trying to get over on this requirement, and caught lying about it, will be permanently banned from the BotS.

Well, here I go again...slow to update the site, but so much has been going on, and I have wanted to play more than update! To all of you who have sent stuff in waiting for it to go up, I'll be sure to get it up today. A few notes to everyone...the new tier system is working out just fine, and to be sure everyone knows what's going on, here is the breakdown. If you create a new character, you can place the character in the line tier. But, if you are under another patron, you need that patrons permission, since they are the ones who have been helping you here and there and everywhere. Be sure to ask your patron first before attempting to throw a character onto the line tier. Sunday meetings are the time and place to do all re-swearing, so if you are a few levels ahead of your patron, you need to make sure your patron shows up. This is not going to be a nuisance thing. What I mean by this, is, let's remember that sometimes people are away, and that you will be moved up eventually. Now, on the other hand, if your patron never makes a meeting, I will drop a note on the board telling that patron to drop you, so you can swear to the next person on the tier. Let's not make this harder than it has to be. If this starts becoming a problem, I will just have my vassals assign you where they think you should be. The last thing I want to deal with on a weekly basis, is tier problems.

Another thing that has come up is quests. If you want to do a quest, be sure to put it on the message boards. Each board should be read by each member at least once or twice a week to keep up on what's going on. Be sure you keep yourself updated, especially if you are in the line tier. You may be asked to re-swear, or drop your current vassal so they can move ahead. You will then need to either make the meeting, or, get in touch with the people you need to deal with to keep the line right. IF there are any problems, or you do not know what to do, the only person you will address about the tier line is me. No one else will tell anyone where to go without first telling me. No one. The reason for this, is to stop any confusion that can happen when more than one person is telling you what to do. This way, I can keep track of who belongs where through notes on the boards, and through emails.

I am going to be attempting to revamp all the pages that need to be done, but if you see that yours was to updated by the evening of 2 March 2001 (today), then write me an email...remember, write me an EMAIL on what I missed. If you put it on the board, it will not get done. This is so I don't have to scan through 50+ messages to find your post, so remember...EMAIL ONLY.

Would like to congratulate all the people that have been really going strong, helping each other out, and having some fun together. This week we saw a few old timers come back into game, Anubis ibn Ra, and Lenore. Good to see that they are back, be sure ya tell them hello when ya see them. Anubis is an Axe Man, and Lenore is a Spear Woman. If you come across any nice ones, drop a note on the board about them, to see if they may want them.

Feb 16 2001

Well, it's been quite a while since I updated the news, but it has been a rough month for me. Wanted to get some playing time in, and I kinda let the site go for a bit. Well, anyways, here's a few of the happenings going on in the guild right now.

Tier 2, headed by Je (Yea, Je is back, the past has been left behind), went through a restructuring of sorts, with a line down according to level, and of actives only. Seems to be working out great, not one complaint, and have been hearing nothing but good coming from it. If anyone in Tier 1 wishes to hit Tier 2, we can do so at any time, just say the word. Still need to get Je his board stuff, but will have his page up by the time you read this.

Let's see, what else has been going on...well, would like to see more posts on the items board, so people with mules can unload some of their goodies onto people who need something. Post away folks, ya may just get what ya ask for!

New patch came today, and there seems to be a lot of new goodies in it, some pretty funny (The little "Dolls" or as some people call them, "Action Figures"). I got a couple of cool ones that I dropped on the ground to look at, and I'll tell ya what, they do look pretty trippy. Heh, I dig the Lugian one I have...I named him "Beldarish One", because he reminds me of someone in the guild (not naming names), and he was named because he is goofy looking and pretty damn stoooooooopid (heh).

Of course I want to add that May Lin, due to her helping hand with the BotS, received the Meritorious Service Award. For her time in the guild, she has done so much, and asked for so little, the decision was made by me to nominate her. On a guild vote, she passed unanimously, and also with a few notes from fellow members. You can check it all out AT THIS LINK. May took in some pretty good loot...she told me she was very pleased with the proceedings, and she finally got herself a Hoary Mattekar Robe, supplied by yours truly, along with a bunch of other items from guild members. Thanks May, for doing what ya do!

NOTE ON MEETINGS: Also wanted to remind everyone that I am going to be doing Guild functions again on our Sunday meetings from now on starting with our next one. I will do my best to make things "FUN". They could be any type of quest, or they could be something on the fly, but it will be a planned out event. And, I am hoping that everyone can take 1-2 hours a week to join in with us for the events. For people who do not want to do the event, please do not bother the ones that are. What I mean is this...if you decide not to join in on the guild event/quest, then don't ask for corpse assistance, mule help...anything. I am reserving this time for the guild to be as one, and if you decide to not participate, then you will have to suck it up, and wait for the event to finish. I think it would not only be rude to disrupt our event, but utter crap that someone who wasn't willing to take an hour or two to be with the guild would want their help when we are together. Very simple rule..."If you aren't going to participate in the events, then do YOUR thing somewhere else, and don't message me, or anyone else while the event is running, or you will be ignored. Simple.
