I Came. (More to come later) |

Originally I traveled with my four brothers, each of us with a sword made from the claw of an Olthoi. We were hailed as a group of Swordmen who would fight any and all evil in this world. Then something awful happened, one of my brothers died and did not reappear at the lifestone. The four remaining mourned the loss of our brother, and took our revenge upon any and all monsters we saw. Many months later we Swordmen were again fighting evil, and were handily moping up a group of Mosswarts when a horde of Shadows appeared without warning. Taken by surprise and in the back, we all fell quickly. Something went wrong. Instead of seeing three frustrated brothers at the lifestone with me, I only saw one confused brother looking upon my face with the same fear and anger I myself was seeing. The two of us headed back to the scene of the attack thinking our brothers had appeared elsewhere and would meet us there. We waited fully three days and nights to no avail. The two of us set out again; both now afraid of the lifestone like never before. We made a new home in Mayoi, where seeing the ocean reminded us that the world was much larger than we could imagine. We honed our skills together, until the two of us could handle what took five before. Yes, though down to only two, we were still Swordmen at heart. We had heard rumors of a tower where spawned a Golem of Granite. Wishing to one day wield the Sword of the Atlans, we searched out this Golem and planned to attain the needed pyreal motes. My brother, always anxious rushed the Golem before I was near enough to help. As I was running to join, I saw my brother rain many a blow upon the rock giant, however it was to no avail. Just as I was joining in with my own blows, my brother fell. I quickly finished the Golem off (there was no mote to be found), and started off to meet my brother at the lifestone. He was not there. I knew not what to do. How could I go on? I believe I would have given up completely if not for the kind Sho woman who came to see if she could help me. And so I met Ramegham. Ramegham took me into her circle of friends and they became the family I was now lacking. I learned much since then, and have honed my skills even further. Much later I heard rumors that the gods were angry with some of the people of Dereth, and that several had simply disappeared because their names were displeasing. Is this what happened to my
brothers?????? |
