When brave souls were first summoned to the world of Dereth my father, Mace, took up the challenge and call of Asheron. Mace enjoyed adventuring with friends and learning how to hunt and survive in the world of Dereth. Unfortunately for poor Mace he had made some bad decisions about what skills to learn as he was young in the world.

 Mace slowly watched as his friends grew more and more powerful with ease but hunting with them become more and more difficult for him. It was with great sadness Mace decided to retire and raise a family. Mace was then shortly blessed with a son soon afterwards. Mace decided then and there to raise the son to be able to deal with the challenges of Dereth and to train him in the ways of the rare and powerful mace. With this in mind his new son was named Mini Mace in honor of his father. Mini Mace was trained in the way of the mace and was provided with his father's prized old weapons and armor. 

Since then Mini Mace has been a terror to behold in combat. He dedicates every battle to one his father had to miss. Mini Mace also has declared a war on the Olthoi and so while quite often be found in the Olthoi Horde Nest dealing death to bugs. Mace and Mini Mace keep in close contact as Mace now uses his expertise to assist his son with the lore and discovery of any new artifacts Mini Mace may discover.
Derro is also a son of Mace. Mace found the poor lad being attacked by Lugians and quickly rescued the boy. Mace quickly learned that Derro's family had been destroyed by shadows during the Shadow War and Derro had been on his own since then. Mace not knowing much regarding magic has done his best to assist Derro with his pursuit of mage but it has slowed Derro's progress with his skills.
