I was born in Dereth, for I bear the mark of an extinct desert tribe that once inhabited a small corner of parched land Southwest of Yaraq. My childhood is unknown to me….but I am told that my accent and language speaks of many years of study in the Eastern lands.

My first real memory is from a chance meeting with Ibrahim al-Karif as a youth in Yaraq. We adventured in the desert together, and grew to be formidable foes to the creatures of Dereth. As each malformed creature fell, I was temporarily calm, before burning even brighter with a fever…to find myself…

My life then changed with the passing of two events…each event different, but serving to draw me further to a new purpose.

Until recently, my purpose in Dereth was to slaughter every creature I encountered, en route to finding the truth about myself…finding someone or something who would know my beginning.

That has now changed.

When I first met the Aluvian beauty named Lenore, she immediately drew my attention and curiosity. Now we are wed, and questions of my past are being devoured by my love for her…nothing else seems to matter, and my unknowable past grows more and more irrelevant to me.

Before we were wed, however, we met a powerful and generous Gharu'ndim mage, Punisher ibn Zod. It was he who hosted our glorious wedding and introduced me to other men and women--- warriors, mages, archers, all of who welcomed me into a world where the past is always lost, and the future is brighter for it.
